Girls soccer lost today in their playoff game against Benjamin Cardozo High School 3-1. The first half looked like an even match with the score at 0-0. Then, in the second half Cardozo scored two goals, but Hunter still did not give up. Corey Kaminsky made an amazing kick over the goalies head and into the goal for Hunter's only, but great, goal. Nearing the end of the game, though, still trying to play strong, hopes were lost when there was a scoring penalty kick against Hunter, leaving the score at 3-1. Though the team is sad about their loss, they feel they played very well and should go far again next year.
